AntiBIND™ Microplates utilize a new technology that modifies the polypropylene surface at the molecular level to produce a comprehensive hydrophilic surface that eliminates nonspecific protein binding. The treatment employs the use of Advanced Plasma Treatment (APT) technology to provide a comprehensive treatment without using any interfering leachables or additives that would migrate into solution during chromatography applications or long term storage. This results in increased protein recovery at low concentrations and more accurate and repeatable results. AntiBIND microplates use homogenous polypropylene where there is no leaching of additives or low molecular weight components into the protein solution with the use of common organic solvents. Competitive plates do leach components that interfere with detection and analysis. The stripping of the low binding capability of the competitors’ plates will decrease its low binding capability and allow for greater protein adsorption to the wall of the plate. This makes AntiBIND the plate of choice when using any LC/MS or any chromatography application.
