In order to perform a warranty repair, the product’s warranty registration must be on file at WHEATON or the user must provide a proof of purchase with date. Each new product contains a warranty registration card. This card must be completed and returned within 1 month of purchase to WHEATON.
If repair or adjustment is necessary within the warranty period and has not been the result of mishandling or abuse, you may return the unit freight prepaid and WHEATON Industries Inc. will correct the defect or adjust the unit at no charge. A return authorization number MUST be obtained before the unit can be returned. Please contact the Repair Department for this information.
Preparation for Repair
Items returned for repair or adjustment should be thoroughly cleaned and packed very carefully to prevent damage in transit and also should be insured for your protection. Should damage occur in transit, all claims should be made against the carrier. WHEATON Industries Inc. will repair or adjust out-of-warranty products at a nominal charge.
