WHEATON Donates $2000 to Millville High School for Students taking AP Exams
Michael Eyler, Director of Organization Development at Wheaton Industries recently presented Patricia Tyszka, AP
Exam Coordinator on behalf of Dr. Christy Thompson, Principal of Millville High School with $2000 to support students
taking College Board Advanced Placement Exams in Math and Science. Each year, students around the world
participate in AP testing in major subject areas to earn college credits if they score high enough. The credits are applied
to the students’ freshman curriculum allowing them to skip a college course and save money on their tuition. The cost
of the exam for each student is $86 and the management of Wheaton is pleased to be able to help local students further
their education, particularly in the challenging areas of mathematics and science. Dr. Thompson and her staff have
expressed their appreciation of the support that Wheaton has provided to the high school throughout the years with this
repeated donation. Wheaton Industries is a fully integrated business offering a large product portfolio of laboratory glass
and plastic ware and leading edge products and services for the pharmaceutical and life science R&D, diagnostic
